The pH or acid and alkaline balance of the blood is a key factor in detoxification and inflammation. An acidic blood pH is more likely to be associated with increased inflammation throughout the body and with a greater incidence of skin conditions such as congestion and acne. By contrast alkaline blood is associated with reduced inflammation. Green foods such as chlorophyll can assist in balancing acid/alkaline balance, which may be helpful during detoxification. This video goes examines the acid/alkaline balance and the benefits of chlorophyll.
Grant’s Liquid Chlorophyll is a gentle, low dose product that assists with the acid/alkaline balance in the body. Recommended by Karen Fischer’s book “The Healthy Skin Diet“, chlorophyll is a useful supplement as part of an overall skin detoxification program. It also helps to reduce body odour – underarm, foot and bad breath.
I love liquid chlorophyll!! I drink it every morning before breakfast! Great Post.
I believe this is what is missing in my diet. I will order some and get started. My trainer just mentioned it! perfect timing!
Thanks !
I was thinking of taking this combined with the complexion tea. Is it ok to have both of these whilst you’re pregnant?
By all means take the Chlorophyll. With regard to the Complexion Tea, it contains Burdock which is quite a strong detoxifying agent. In tea form, it is more gentle than herbal tincture however, I would advise you to avoid Complexion Tea during pregnancy. However, the Third Stone Botanicals BeauTea would be an ideal alternative. It also supports skin health using Elderflowers, horsetail, lemongrass, cornflowers, calendula, rose petals and red clover. It is also 100% certified organic and a gentler alternative to Complexion Tea. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
