Who would ever have thought that a silk pillow case could get me so excited! Well have you ever woken up with a ‘sleep-crease’ on your face? I do every day (on my left side damn it!). For reasons completely unrelated to my daily ‘sleep crease’ I bought a silk pillow case (well just because I love the feel of them) and my ‘sleep crease’ was no more. Woohoo – you can bet I was happy!
So I have done a video blog about Slip Silk Pillow Cases:

Twitter It!Ananda, it’s funny because I’ve only ever heard of silk and satin pillows being touted for chemically-treated or damaged hair, for the similar reasons used to promote them for skin – less friction means less damage. This makes sense, but this article was a light-bulb moment. Thanks! I always prefer natural and organic fabrics, but I’ll have to put these on a wish list because $60 for a single pillow case is indeed a splurge. ‘Hot’ satin will have to do for now
Cheers!

I have one of these beautiful silk pillowcases, and really look forward to sleeping on it. I think that I actually get a better nights sleep on this compared to my cotton one, but can’t lay a finger on the why! When I have taken the time to straighten my usually curly hair, my hair stays straight for nights with this pillowcase, and I wake up without the usual sleep marks on my cheek. It is hard to do without during wash time, so I am adding one to my birthday list this year as well!

I love silk. I can’t sleep without them ever since I started using one!
