I am a huge fan of Mineral Make Up in general, particularly an Australian brand called Minerelle. Mineral make up suits most skin types however, application styles can vary from product to product and certainly, the pressed mineral powders require less work on the skin than loose powders. Here I show how I apply Minerelle Make Up, a pressed mineral powder as well as discus the benefits of mineral make up in general.
You have gorgeous skin Ananda, you don’t need makeup! Great video

What shade of Minerelle do you use?
Just curious because I have never used this makeup line(but am considering trying it), and think I have a similar skin tone to yours.

Thanks for your question. The shade that I use is Megan. The pigment is very concentrated in the pallet so the shades look darker than they appear on the skin. I have quite pink toned skin and I like to use foundation that suits my tone rather than trying to cover it up which I think Megan does really well. THis also means I can use less foundation. So to sum up – Megan is for those that burn and don’t readily tan. If you do get a slight tan, then I suggest you go for Claire which is the next shade up.

Thanks Fran. Old issues die hard – so many years of covering up!
