I am a recent convert to eye creams but now that I am, I am addicted. My twice daily indulgence is applying the Haven Scent Rosehip Eye Cream to my eye area. However, there are many different choices when it comes to eye creams and each one tends to focus on a different eye issue be it puffiness, dark circles or fine lines and wrinkles. In this video I discuss which natural eye creams are better for each issue and how to choose which one is right for you….or if you even need one at all.

I’m with you on the eye creams. I’ve tried not using them, and used face creams that were supposedly suitable for the eye area, but they always irritated my eyes to some extent, and/or left them puffy. I’ve tried a sample pot of the Devita Eye Cream, and while I didn’t notice any improvement in lines (but perhaps because I hadn’t used it long enough), it was lovely to use and always made my eye area feel soothed, and wasn’t greasy or too heavy. I’ll probably buy this product again in the future. I’ve also tried a sample of the Mav Eye Cream but was put off by the overwhelming smell of patchouli, which I don’t much like – especially not when I can smell it ALL day, not just after using. I also didn’t find this product moisturising enough. My last word on eye creams is that ‘unscented’ is essential – fragrances are just too irritating for the eyes. Thanks for ‘listening’! Regards, Karen

Hi Karen…thanks for your comments. Happy to “listen” any time. Your feedback about eye creams is great. I am inclined to agree about strong fragrances around the eyes. That is one really good quality of all the Devita moisturisers is that they are unscented. Good for sensitive skin and eyes. I have only tried the lighter La Mav eye cream so will have to try the Eye Cream and let you know what I think. I don’t mind patchouli but as you say…all day is a bit much.
